About the role
As a Technician, you will conduct daily operations in production, manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping for automotive LED accessories. You’ll join a rapidly expanding team in a fast-paced environment with excellent opportunities for future advancement.
Technicians rotate through various operation cells, including:
- SMT Production
- Hands-on Assembly
- Test and Packaging
- Warehouse Operations
- Injection Molding Machine
Rotation times vary between 2 weeks and 3 months, depending on cell complexity and customer demands. Flexibility in handling various tasks is essential, as circumstances can and often do change. This role offers broad experience across multiple facets of operations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble LED lamps and electrical components.
- Manually solder and crimp circuit boards and wire harnesses.
- Prepare and organize components needed in production.
- Operate basic manufacturing equipment.
- Manage merchandise with appropriate care.
- Accurately follow technical procedures for high-quality efficiency.
- Quickly and accurately package and label products.
- Follow all approved work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements.
- Perform in-process quality inspections and verify products meet established quality standards.
- Handle materials and products to prevent damage or contamination.
- Accurately complete production records.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn new skills and work with high attention to detail.
- Background in manufacturing.
- Able to stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours a day and lift 45 lbs or more daily.
- Willing to wear necessary PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience soldering and assembling electronics is a plus.
- Familiarity with cellular manufacturing.
- Understanding and applying the 5S method.
- Understanding effective quality management to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- High school diploma required.
