Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to maintain smooth production flow.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling, and pressure as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to ensure compliance with customer standards.
• Collaborate with shift teams to resolve issues and enhance processes.
• Participate in ongoing on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• A knack for working with your hands and solving mechanical problems.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electromechanical systems is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Must be available for double-time pay on Sundays.

Pay

This position offers a starting salary depending on experience, including base pay, night shift premium, and double pay on Sundays.

Schedule

Steady work with predictable 12-hour shifts, alternating weekends off, and double-time pay on Sundays.
