Production Technician

About the role

This position combines the roles of QC Tech, Blow Fill Operator, and Injection Molding Operator. You will operate all necessary equipment for self-manufactured Bottled Water and Still Beverage production lines, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operates the Blow Mold filler, bottle labeler, shrink film packager, Injection molding lines, regrind, dryers, and blenders.
• Completes internal and external sanitation.
• Monitors production line for beverage/preform quality by performing all line quality checks and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Samples product on an hourly and daily basis; reports and records results to maintain certification.
• Tests finished product for quality.
• Drives a standup/sit-down forklift.
• Sets up lines and changes package and product when necessary.
• Conducts light general and preventative maintenance to ensure proper machine operation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience with light maintenance/preventive maintenance, machine changeover, production line operation, quality controls, and lab work.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative; follows established procedures without deviation.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing production line environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
