Responsibilities
- Follow safe work permit processes, policies, and procedures
- Ensure safety and hazard recognition is implemented through the Hazardous Work Permit (HWP) process
- Identify, develop and incorporate LOTOs as required
- Understand and ensure compliance with all Linde and governmental Environmental Permits, Regulations, and Policies
- Understand the theoretical aspects of the air separation process and adjust controls towards achieving desired flows, pressures, and purities
- Understand Production KPIs and work towards achieving goals included in individual performance rating
- Perform troubleshooting on equipment/process upsets and restart plants as needed
- Ensure customer quality requirements are met for ALL products by maintaining analyzers and Linde Quality Assurance Program (QAP)
- Utilize the EAM Maintenance program to maintain compliance in areas covered by CMMS
- Read and Understand P&ID and control loop input-output logic
- Assist in the training and development of new employees
- Follow all SMP, SOP, COP, OSS, OPS alerts and Technical Bulletins
- Ensure all responsibilities are performed in accordance with applicable safety, operational, quality, and environmental requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates in Applied Sciences Degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred
- Motivated, self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Relevant computer and technical skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e., lift 50 pounds and climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to work in tight and closed spaces
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
