Production Technician
Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform daily animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health
- Maintain accurate and timely production records and reports
- Treat sick animals with prescribed medications using various methods
- Maintain and sanitize barn areas and office spaces
- Assist with moving animals and managing efficient animal flows
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to animal care and safety
- Participate in the company’s emergency notification system
- Comply with safety requirements and follow biosecurity protocols
Requirements
- Previous livestock handling experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing plans and farm leadership directions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
