Production Technician, 1st Shift

About the role

A Production Technician is needed to join the Moorpark, CA team at Pentair. The role involves assisting in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products by performing line assembly operations using Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Correctly document and handle parts
• Flexibility to rotate on the line
• Packaging small components and packaging operations
• Performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department
• Using fine hand manipulation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Preferred: Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in production and/or assembly position
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to create a highly effective team environment
• Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other power hand tools
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting at the waist
• Lifting up to 30 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift
• Steel-toed footwear required

Pay

The hourly pay for this role is $19.65/hour, plus 8% shift premium for 2nd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Start Time: 4am
Work Hours: 10-12 hours per shift
Overtime: Available as needed
