Production Team Partner - Garment Sorter & Shipper - UniFirst
About the role
The Production Team Partner will play a crucial role in keeping customers on schedule by ensuring timely delivery of garments. This position offers on-the-job training, competitive pay, and a variety of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare garments for shipping back to customer locations
- Organize garments by route and stop number
- Store garments until shipment back to the customer
- Perform final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
- Handle garments requiring poly bagging/wrapping
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP guidelines, and medical protocols
- Perform other duties as directed by area supervisors or management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in performing basic mathematical functions
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Proficient in basic mathematical functions using American standard units
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
