Production Team Member

Description

The Smurfit Westrock Roanoke Rapids Mill seeks motivated individuals for an Entry-Level Operations Team role. This position offers hands-on experience in a large industrial manufacturing environment, competitive pay, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two (2) years of continuous full-time work experience, preferably in manufacturing/production, or post-secondary education
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Read a tape measure and demonstrate basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to working safely
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs throughout the shift
• Able to work in noisy environments, around chemicals, high heat, and in varying weather conditions
