Hiring Immediately - Full Time Starting payrate: $18/hr and can go up based on experience $3.00/hr Shift differential for Night Shift Production Team Member - Conover, NC

Requirements

• Roles Could Include The Following Finishing Utility, Cutting Utility, Flatpack Utility, Tooling Utility, Sheeting Utility, Material Handler or Printing Material Handler.
• Dayshift: 7AM-7PM Nightshift: 7PM-7AM 4 days on 4 days off

Safety

• Safety Required – PPE must be worn while on your job. At a minimum safety glass, steel toe shoes and hearing protection.
• Gloves are always required on the production floor and warehouses.
• Required – S.T.E.P. (Stop, Think, Evaluate and Plan)
• Required – Safety Absolutes Training

Physical Requirements

• Lift cartons onto belt.
• Pack cartons into corrugated boxes.
• May be required to work in flat pack/sorting as needed.

Essential/Marginal Functions

• Check job specifications to materials in use.
• Place cartons on belt maintaining proper stack height, carton direction, and ensure stack is straight.
• Change pallets and/or loads.
• Determine packing specifications.
• Pack cartons using automatic packer or hand packs cartons.
• Perform quality audits during production and pack finished cartons into corrugated cases.
• If you operate Cello, stop the machine before the film rolls run out and perform film changeover, add glue to glue pots or adjust the film as needed.
• Able to start the machine after a jam and put belts on.
• Assure completion of job(s) and/or form(s).
• Absorb changes and adapt to new situations.
• Assist operator in driving production, Safety 5S, and quality.
• Read and understand schedule.
• Perform PM as directed by operator.
• Perform detection system test.

Training

• Training requirements for this position are maintained in the Training Module of Compliant Pro.
• Pass Farnsworth Munsel-100 Hue Test.
