Production Team Member

Duties And Responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Monitor productivity standards by analyzing metrics surrounding key performance indicators.
• Recommend/implement ways to improve performance.
• Inspect all dough trays for proper dating, stacking, and down-stacking, and ensure they are maintained at the correct cooling temperatures.
• Maintain and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards on cleanliness and sanitation to ensure product is free of contamination or foreign material.
• Pre-soak dough trays and process them through a tray washer.
• Perform advanced lock out/tag out of all dough production equipment before cleaning and sanitizing.
• Clean and sanitize all dough processing equipment and the production room after production.
• Document and sign off on various processes in dough production (sanitation, rejection procedure, dough weight, etc.).
• Adhere to all prescribed safety practices, including wearing the proper safety equipment and uniform.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks in the Quality Control Center as requested.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and other flooring.
• Use cleaning chemicals and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in a safe and proper manner.
• Ensure compliance with PJFS Safety standards, Sanitation and HACCP policies & procedures, federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, FDA, DOL), and all Papa John’s International, Inc., policies & procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to follow instructions and work independently. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Skills

Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, strong organizational skills, and physical stamina are essential. Proficiency in using cleaning chemicals and PPE is preferred.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $12.00 to $14.00 per hour.

Schedule

This position is typically full-time with some weekend and holiday coverage required.
