Duties

  • Coordinates, facilitates, and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing Associates.
  • Set up the production line to the specification of the customer’s order and work closely with various departments to ensure that parts are manufactured according to customer’s specifications.
  • Makes sure that appropriate parts and quantity of parts are being run according to production schedule.
  • Communicates any safety, quality, and/or production related issues with Supervisor or appropriate management representative.
  • Care for housekeeping activities of area.
  • Provides necessary training to new associates and documents said training.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve delays in the shift.
  • Work with Supervisor and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
  • Excel/ERP (Hand Scanner is a plus)
  • Computer Skills (Basic Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge)
  • GP a plus.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of previous lead experience preferred, not required

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs at a time.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
