What You'll Do

• Operate equipment or machinery & assemble window components using a tape measure and other hand tools.
• Inspect product throughout the process, looking for defects using a strong attention to detail and an eye for quality.
• Variety of aspects of the manufacturing process, which can include loading machines, packing finished product, pulling items, and preparing labels/stickers.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment within assigned and surrounding workspace while ensuring to meet all safety standards and practices.
• Commit to cross-training, learning multiple positions and developing your skillset further.

What We Are Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English sufficient to read and understand safety procedures, hazard warnings, and equipment operating instructions.
• Able to accurately complete production records, quality checklists, and incident reports in English.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and motivated to become well-versed within multiple areas of operations.
• Strong attention to detail and willing to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations.
• Willing to collaborate with a variety of different people and roles.
• Committed to cross-training, learning, and developing your skillset further.
• Values diversity and takes pride in building a team together.

Physical Requirements

• The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant.
• The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise.
• Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat.
• Physical demands include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance, based on position, 80lbs-100lb with assistance.
• Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location.
