About the role

We are looking for a talented Production Support Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Forest City, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe work environment for everyone.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Your adherence to HSE standards and prompt reporting of any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training and education required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience training or mentoring employees highly preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in manufacturing or related industry highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to be able to read, comprehend, interpret and apply manufacturing instruction guides.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with employees and management.
  • Operate with honesty and integrity.

Skills

  • Physical Requirements: Manufacturing/Warehouse environment requiring ability to: Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, Communicate effectively in person, one-on-one and large groups, via telephone, email, or other modes of communication as necessary, Use keyboard and read from computer screens and reports as necessary, Lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
