About the Role
AHT has been in the industry for 40+ years, specializing in processes like ion nitriding, gas nitriding, carbonitriding, and induction hardening. Our work improves parts used in aerospace, defense, firearms, automotive, construction, agriculture, energy, and medical industries. You may have encountered our work in products like the jaws of life, airplane landing gear, or even parts used in the Mars Rover.
As part of our team, you will learn about metals, the effects of our processes on metal, and the importance of quality. We provide training to help you become an expert in this essential but lesser-known industry.
We are seeking a Part-Time Production Support candidate to work at our Burton Ave, Waterloo, IA facility. This role is ideal for individuals attending college, seeking a second job, or preferring limited hours. You will work Monday through Friday on 2nd shift, with a schedule tailored to your availability within our business hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to Equipment Operators and Technicians by following process instructions and work orders.
- Fixture, mask, clean, load, and unload customer parts.
- Perform routine shop duties with a strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- One year of industrial experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to operate a fork truck (hi-lo) and overhead crane preferred.
