Production Support- 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 AM)

About the role

LiDestri Foods has grown from its roots as a pasta sauce and salsa manufacturer to become an R&D engine, formulating and producing innovative food products for national and retailer brand partners. Based in Rochester, NY, LiDestri employs over 1,000 people across three U.S. locations, maintaining strong partnerships with respected consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies and inventive retailer brands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMP standards at and area machinery;
• Performs SOP’s for assigned work areas;
• Affords assistance with CIPs, as required;
• Relieves operator, as needed;
• Maintains accurate records;
• Reports food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Requirements

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety training, and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots);
• Chemical training;
• LO/TO certified, may require use of a forklift;
• Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning;
• Ability to use various tools (band cutters, dump tanks, tote hoists, knife and scales).
