About the Role

Provide support and assistance to production workers, including ensuring accurate ingredients are delivered to the production area, removal of debris, and clean-in-process (CIP).

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate ingredients to production area
• Handle products on production line
• Package materials
• Boxing and unboxing of goods, including debris removal
• Assist with CIPs (Clean-In-Process), as required
• Relieve operator, as needed
• Perform SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for assigned work areas
• Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards at and around machinery
• Maintain accurate records
• Work in a safe manner consistent with Company policies and regulations
• Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Requirements

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety training, and leather skid-resistant work shoes/boots)
• Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
• Ability to use various tools (band cutters, dump tanks, tote hoists, knife, and scales)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and keep up with daily production demands

Working Conditions

• Constant exposure to extreme loud noises
• Constant work in high places and near moving mechanical parts
• Constant standing and moving by foot
• Constant exposure to extreme hot/cold (non-weather) environments
• Frequent lifting/carrying under 50 pounds, reaching, and use of fingers
• Frequent use of hot/cold water hoses
• Frequent reaching, pulling, bending, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, and bending
