About the role
Provide administrative support to the Production Manager, Production Foreman, and Line Supervisors. Work with all supervision and employees to ensure compliance with cGMPs, Praxis’ SOPs, policies, and work instructions. Maintain policies and quality standards on the production floor and in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Provide hourly and daily production reporting to production and accounting groups.
- Investigate and resolve issues regarding reporting.
- Order the correct number of production temporary employees for each shift.
- Account for direct labor on an hourly basis using production schedules and physical counts to ensure lines have the correct number of employees/temporaries scanned in.
- Post previous day’s report showing labor statistics.
- Complete batch record review of all production work orders.
- Review DLS sheets, correct errors, assemble efficiency reports, and post them once received.
- Print IRRs (Blue scan), change location, and change status per current Work Instruction.
- Print Pallet Tags (yellow), scan, and change quantity per current Work Instruction.
- Serve as the point person for online computer problems; contact IT if unable to resolve.
- Main point of contact for production job-related activities such as rework and line trials.
- Assist with investigating deviations and change controls related to Production.
- Serve as a backup to the Primary Production Manager in meetings.
- Provide Additional Material Request forms to Warehouse Support.
- Ensure log books (equipment books) and other forms are properly filled out.
- Keep the Production area clean and ensure an adequate supply of forms and materials.
- Troubleshoot problem areas and apply problem-solving techniques for resolution.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Work to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through quality policy, objectives, audit results, data analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Instill a sense of quality through modeled behaviors and mindset.
- Assist with training and orientation.
- Elevate complaints and problems, seeking management assistance when needed.
- Ensure proper PPE and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Certified Line Supervisor preferred.
- Basic mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Pay
USD $26.00 - USD $29.00 per hour.
