CCP- Portage, IN, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable 2nd Shift Production Support ,to join our team; schedule Monday - Friday 3:00pm -11:00pm As a Production Support team member, you will play a key role in the organization’s efficient operation ensuring that goals are met surrounding safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery providing a great customer experience. Roles And Responsibilities Receives, inspects and stocks inbound raw materials for productionAssembles customer orders and packages to specifications as requiredPerforms data entry for processed fulfilled ordersLoads completed order products onto trucks for deliveryCompletes bill of ladings for outbound shipmentsOperates Forklifts, Electric Overhead Cranes and Warehouse TractorOperates Rail Car Mover and moves and unloads rail cars Operates shear for sample testingAssembles, pallets, and skids per order requirementsMaintains housekeeping in the work areaAll other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements 3 years or more experience in warehouse setting preferredAble to read a tape measure down to a 1/16th of an inchSteel industry background preferredOverhead crane experience preferredExperience loading & unloading steel products preferredExperience with mobile equipment preferredSuccessful pass a skills-based assessment – evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation or preference, and pregnancy), age, national origin, religion, disability or genetic information, marital status, status as a veteran, or any other federal, state or local protected class or artificial barrier.
