Production Support Operator I

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean parts
• Perform part marking and packaging
• Debur and/or grind parts using file, grinding wheel, tumbler and deburring cloth
• Operate a tumbler and a sand blaster
• Work with various materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, polyimide or phenolic, fiber glass, composite material, titanium, brass, and copper
• Get along well with others
• Work scheduled shifts and meet company attendance requirements
• Be flexible to work late or modify work hours as needed
• Work safely and comply with company safety rules and procedures
• Practice the 6 S’s of lean philosophy on a daily basis

Requirements

• Good basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals)
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Ability to input data into a computer terminal
• Neat penmanship for completing Manufacturing Plans, etc.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One to three months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Able to be detail oriented and multi-task several functions
• Able to organize work to optimize efficiency
