About the role
CITI is looking for a motivated Equities Electronic Trading Technology Production Support Lead Analyst to join their global support team on the NY trading floor. The role involves providing technical support for Equities E-trading applications and managing a variety of business and technology issues. The candidate will work closely with development teams and other regions, requiring strong communication skills. This position is hands-on and focuses on problem-solving and technical direction within a globally aligned team.
Responsibilities
- Own and provide L2 support for mission-critical Equities E-trading applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and business support teams to determine strategy and priorities.
- Ensure the team meets business requirements and communicates progress effectively to stakeholders.
- Provide technical application support and monitor applications and technical platforms.
- Answer queries via phone, email, and other communication mediums.
- Understand application processes and database schema as an expert.
- Perform problem-solving tasks before escalating to other teams.
- Make key technical recommendations during major issues based on system knowledge.
- Follow through to ensure each problem is resolved according to SLA.
- Effectively communicate issues and status updates with business support, regional colleagues, and development teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Equities Support experience.
- Experience in trade floor support.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol.
- Proficiency in Python and Perl, with familiarity in Java applications.
- Experience with Linux/Unix Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Desire to grow within the production support space.
- 6-10 years of application support experience.
- Ability to effectively share information with team members and other technology teams.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Experience with KDB is a plus.
Pay
$142,320 - $213,480 per year
