Production Support Engineer
About the role
A large financial bank is seeking a Production Support Analyst to join their Production Services team. The role involves implementing solutions to optimize workflows across a portfolio of approximately 400 applications.
Responsibilities
- Drive key initiatives across the ~400 application portfolio
- Implement solutions to optimize workflows
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
- Work directly with customers in pre-sales or delivery environments
- Collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-team environments
- Document and present solutions to stakeholders
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Systems Engineer, or similar
- Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and/or SQL
- Customer empathy and consultative engagement
- Solution architecture and design thinking
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Strong documentation and storytelling abilities
Skills
- Automation, Python skills
- Some database skills: overall idea of how a database works, can be Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with legacy batch processes and ability to streamline them
- Strategic redesign experience
Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
