Responsibilities
- Manage release deployment requests throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate and partner with peer support, development, and infrastructure teams across the globe.
- Onboard new applications for release deployments.
- Utilize the in-house-built tool Chronos (built on top of the Cutover application) for release deployments.
- Onboard and support Start of Day (SOD) and Start of Week (SOW) application checks, and resolve documented issues while escalating to Level 2 application support teams when necessary.
- Identify and automate manual activities to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Application support/development, ensuring stability for Global Markets applications in a global, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with distributed application platforms: Windows, Linux, SQL.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow documented release deployment steps accurately and without error.
- Experienced on monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace.
- Programming skills: Python, Unix scripting, Ansible.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL and SDLC principles and their execution.
- Experience coordinating with offshore and onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners.
Qualifications
- Must have hands-on experience providing direct support to Global Markets applications and performing release deployments.
- Results-oriented, must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate.
