Production Support Associate (All Shifts)
About the role
The Production Support Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and adherence to high standards across the production line. This position involves supporting the production process by managing materials, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Support the production line by staging, replenishing, and preparing materials like bottles, caps, and pumps.
- Double-check component numbers and ensure correct paperwork and SAP stickers are in place.
- Use electric pallet jacks to move components and finished goods, preparing pallets for warehouse transfer.
- Scan finished products into SAP and maintain accurate records, acting as a quality gatekeeper.
- Return unused components and assist in clearing the line for the next production run.
- Perform quality audits, inspecting label placement, batch codes, and overall product standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace meeting FDA and company quality standards.
- Promote and adhere to safety protocols within the facility.
- Occasionally step in as a backup Equipment Operator and assist in training new team members.
- Complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and other necessary documentation accurately and diligently.
- Handle sensitive product and customer information discreetly.
- Show up consistently, be willing to work overtime, and take on additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA safety standards is required.
- Experience with SAP and HMI systems is advantageous.
- A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail are essential.
- The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions is necessary.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work collaboratively with others.
- Comfortable operating electric pallet jacks and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled, moderately loud production area.
- Stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
- Navigate around motorized equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
