Production Support Associate (All Shifts)

About the role

The Production Support Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and adherence to high standards across the production line. This position involves supporting the production process by managing materials, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support the production line by staging, replenishing, and preparing materials like bottles, caps, and pumps.
• Double-check component numbers and ensure correct paperwork and SAP stickers are in place.
• Use electric pallet jacks to move components and finished goods, preparing pallets for warehouse transfer.
• Scan finished products into SAP and maintain accurate records, acting as a quality gatekeeper.
• Return unused components and assist in clearing the line for the next production run.
• Perform quality audits, inspecting label placement, batch codes, and overall product standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace meeting FDA and company quality standards.
• Promote and adhere to safety protocols within the facility.
• Occasionally step in as a backup Equipment Operator and assist in training new team members.
• Complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and other necessary documentation accurately and diligently.
• Handle sensitive product and customer information discreetly.
• Show up consistently, be willing to work overtime, and take on additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA safety standards is required.
• Experience with SAP and HMI systems is advantageous.
• A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail are essential.
• The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions is necessary.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work collaboratively with others.
• Comfortable operating electric pallet jacks and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in a climate-controlled, moderately loud production area.
• Stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
• Navigate around motorized equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
