Production Supervisor w/Metal Stamping Experience - 1st shift

Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st shift Production Supervisor for our metals stamping division in New Hope, MN. Responsibilities

• Lead and direct employees within the stamping plant to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of metal components.
• Oversee daily operations, provide training and support to production staff, and coordinate workflow through department leads.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other machine accessories to meet production needs.
• Utilize strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing to build products to specifications.
• Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutters, and machine parts according to specifications as needed.
• Conduct programming at the machine (Master Cam, Gibbs, or Solidworks preferred).
• Assist in and train employees on setting up CNC lathes, multi-axis lathes, and vertical milling machines.
• Consult with engineering to modify jobs and improve production and quality of products.
• Ensure plant operations are as efficient as possible and comply with ISO Quality Management System requirements.
• Complete prompt, thorough, and high-quality incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions for all incidents and injuries.
• Apply expertise in metal stamping manufacturing, including production scheduling, quality standards, safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience supervising production and employees in the sheet metal industry.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in the sheet metal industry.
• Ability to lead teams and make business decisions.
