About the role

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor at the Kentwood West Plant with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, people management, and continuous improvement. If you bring a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead teams through change, we’d love to connect.

Responsibilities

• Manage a production division from raw steel to finished product, ensuring schedules are met
• Lead and develop a team of 20–30 hourly employees, focusing on performance, training, and development
• Participate in a leadership rotational program
• Collaborate with Operations Managers to control costs and meet corporate goals
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations
• Drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction
• Provide coverage for Operations Managers and lead special projects as needed
• Maintain flexibility to move between manufacturing areas based on business needs

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of proven leadership and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Desired Skills And Experience: Strong initiative and ability to work under pressure, Bachelor's degree or military equivalent experience, Familiarity with engineering methods and capacity analysis, Lean manufacturing, Ability to adapt quickly and lead through change, Experience leading cross-functional projects
