About The Role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals. This role coordinates manpower, workflow, and resources across departments to maintain quality, productivity, and cost control. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in training employees, enforcing standards, and driving continuous improvement within the production environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production plant operations and workflow execution
- Manage production schedules based on production control priorities
- Assign crews and schedule labor for production, patching, and finishing work
- Determine production sequencing and prioritize work based on project needs
- Cookordinate across departments including engineering, drafting, and quality
- Monitor production efficiency and proactively address delays or defects
- Oversee inventory tracking and assist with monthly inventory processes
- Manage purchase orders and support material procurement needs
- Train, coach, and develop new and existing employees
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including corrective action when necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of production or manufacturing supervisory experience
- PCI Level I & II certification preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes and plant operations
- Ability to read schedules, manage workflow, and coordinate resources effectively
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Basic math skills and ability to manage production-related data
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
- Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area
