Job Summary
Direct and manage all Pack Out operations with overall responsibilities for production, efficiency, labor, quality, safety, and other production-related activities.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Operations and supervision of all packaging lines to ensure the process, people and procedures are in line with the company’s goals.
- Supervises and coordinates activities such as work procedures, employee rotation, work schedules and attendance.
- Ensure both personal and product safety is the focal point.
- Ensure proper staffing daily.
- Coincides with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possible.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Promote continuous improvement throughout the process.
- Tracks and communicates employee performance and provides disciplinary / corrective action as needed.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Proven experience in leading and/or supervising a team of packaging associates.
- Computer knowledge of Word, Excel & Microsoft.
- Knowledge of ERP M3 system, Infinity, Insperity & M3.
- Flexibility in working schedule and able to work 2nd shift hours.
- Knowledge of KAC Mac, Metal Detectors, X-Ray, Label Applicators, Transfer Belts, Scan Guns.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Supervision & Food Manufacturing experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in a packaging manufacturing environment.
