Job Summary

Direct and manage all Pack Out operations with overall responsibilities for production, efficiency, labor, quality, safety, and other production-related activities.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Operations and supervision of all packaging lines to ensure the process, people and procedures are in line with the company’s goals.
• Supervises and coordinates activities such as work procedures, employee rotation, work schedules and attendance.
• Ensure both personal and product safety is the focal point.
• Ensure proper staffing daily.
• Coincides with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possible.
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement throughout the process.
• Tracks and communicates employee performance and provides disciplinary / corrective action as needed.

Required Skills / Abilities

• Proven experience in leading and/or supervising a team of packaging associates.
• Computer knowledge of Word, Excel & Microsoft.
• Knowledge of ERP M3 system, Infinity, Insperity & M3.
• Flexibility in working schedule and able to work 2nd shift hours.
• Knowledge of KAC Mac, Metal Detectors, X-Ray, Label Applicators, Transfer Belts, Scan Guns.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Supervision & Food Manufacturing experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in a packaging manufacturing environment.
