About the role
The Van Drunen Family of Companies is seeking a Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all production activities for the 3rd shift, which runs from 10PM to 6:30AM. The role offers competitive pay ranging from $29.33 to $34.00 per hour, with the potential for additional bonuses based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety concerns and incidents during the shift, escalating issues as needed.
- Monitor operations to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Inventory teams to support sanitation, food safety, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ensure all production and quality documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Lead, coach, and develop shift employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and daily work direction.
Requirements
- At least one year of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- A high school diploma or GED, with a four-year degree preferred.
- Manufacturing experience required, with food manufacturing and automation experience a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred and demonstrated competencies in integrity, accountability, reliability, and teamwork.
Qualifications
