Production Supervisor - Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions for custom machines and direct machine shop activities.
• Create and manage a daily production and staffing schedule.
• Solve final assembly technical and operational issues.
• Train new employees.
• Schedule regular maintenance for equipment.
• Select as-required materials for purchase (fasteners, clamps, fittings, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Industry-related experience.
• A technical or business degree is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to use office equipment and various office software.

Skills

• Hands-on industry experience with machine tools for grinding, lapping, honing, and wire-saw cutting.
• Interfacing with engineering and procurement to support production of new products.
• Ensuring equipment is built to specifications and requirements to function correctly.
