The position

The position oversees and participates in the manufacturing of products as determined by production schedules, forecasts, and work orders. This position will oversee the 2nd shift crew.

Plant Manager

A Highlight Of Your Day-to-day

  • Engaging in interactive communication
  • Leading the activities of employees; providing assistance to workers engaged in production activities; troubleshooting worker and production problems and recommending solutions
  • Training workers in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Monitoring comprehension and re-training as necessary
  • Participating in and overseeing the production process from beginning to end while ensuring product quality
  • Supervising employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, motivating, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining employees
  • Organizing the daily workflow based on direction from the Plant Manager and production schedules, while ensuring each production team is well informed of daily tasks and deadlines
  • Properly operating all tools and equipment according to safety procedures and specified guidelines
  • Maintaining an organized work area and properly storing tools, materials, and equipment

Who We Are Looking For

  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience working with a Quality Control program
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor)
  • Strong communication skills to include both verbal and written communication
