Make a MarkWe Blaze Our Own TrailBrand FirstWe Mean Business Summary The Production Supervisor is an integral part of the hiring, training, and development of production employees. This role manages production leads and support employees; overseeing all aspects of production including digital logs, maintaining daily production flow, and ensuring all quotas are enforced and goals are met. The Production Supervisor will need to understand processes in all production departments; kitchen, packaging, and inventory and have the ability to manage these departments interchangeably. They will be expected to set standard and coordinate functions through clear communication with team members, while working closely with management to ensure all functions are achieved. This role must be able to work a flexible schedule. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Supervise Production employees and assist with planning, assigning, and directing workEnsure Production teams understand and execute standard operating procedures, and have ongoing training based on SOP updatesOversee scheduling for team members, and delegation of work throughout the dayComplete Employee Reviews based on company timelines and proceduresOversee daily production operationsAssist Kitchen Manager in planning production and kitchen schedules to fulfill required goalsMaintain a clean and organized workplace, and ensure Production Support teams understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures Collaborates with Kitchen Manager in development of SOPs and implementation of processesMaintain and verify inventory of packaging suppliesComplete and submit all required reports with accuracy and efficiencyMaintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced with regard to weights, appearance of product and flavor profileEvaluate performance of the operation and make improvements to procedure or work practices to elevate the quality of productsPerform and monitor all aspects of Quality Control in production Ensure accuracy in all kitchen data, counts, measurements and weightsEnsure compliance with all company policies and state regulations, including health and safety standardsEnsure proper storage of all facility consumables and product; storing food products in compliance with safety practicesPerform quality inspections on products as assignedMinimize waste where possible Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the companyAssist Managers in training and coaching employees on proper procedures, techniques and compliance protocolsCommunicate quality or safety discrepancies to managementMake recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of team members Assist Department Managers as neededAdditional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience: At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust have experience working with a high sense of urgency preferably in a fast-paced work environmentMust have at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experienceMust have strong attention to detailComputer Skills: Microsoft suite (core applications), Google, Slack, experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferredLanguage Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionTravel Requirements: Occasional travel required between buildings and sitesAbility to maintain/manage confidential informationState regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or olderServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferredWill be required to submit to a background checkMust obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, and certifications Benefits As an exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive salary of $59,000-$69,000/year plus bonuses, 11 paid holidays, 120 hours of PTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
