Production Supervisor

Job Description

Shift

• Monday - Friday – 8 hour shift, 8AM to 4PM (Additional hours as required to meet the objectives of the department)

Responsibilities

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Provide guidance and direction to production team
• Lead and motivate team to meet production goals
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Identify and address any issues or conflicts within the team
• Production Planning and Coordination:
• Develop and implement production schedules
• Cook with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
• Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production related issues
• Quality Control:
• Ensure products meet company quality standards
• Conduct quality inspections and audits
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures
• Address any quality issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Budget and Cost Management:
• Maintain and control production costs
• Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Prepare and track production budgets
• Make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
• Communication and Reporting:
• Communicate production updates and issues to upper management
• Provide regular reports on production progress and performance
• Cook with other departments for product launches or changes
• Maintain open and clear communication with production team members
• Team Management:
• Understand team dynamics and effective management practices
• Conflict Resolution:
• Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively

Qualifications

• High School diploma with at least 4 years of industry experience, 1+ year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
• In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices
• Experience with developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in inventory management software and systems

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
