About the role
As a Production Supervisor at Weyerhaeuser’s mill in Plymouth, NC, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team to achieve operational goals while fostering a safe and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team by resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Model safe work practices and promote a strong safety culture.
- Drive performance by fostering a continuous improvement mindset and maintaining positive relationships with team members.
- Manage work schedules, attendance, and employee benefits.
- Develop and lead team meetings and trainings, identifying and addressing safety, quality, and production issues.
- Contribute to and lead department initiatives, including safety, environmental, and LEAN processes.
- Participate in incident investigations and follow-up activities.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Work-related experience in safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid team-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other Windows-based programs.
- Ability to maintain production floor presence for the majority of production time.
- Experience with LEAN processes and SAP.
Skills
- Proven ability to improve performance through coaching and development.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work any shift, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $69,300 - $104,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience.
Schedule
This role is full-time and requires a flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of the production environment.
