Production Supervisor
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensures Safe work practices that comply with all OSHA and Entergy Safety Processes. Provides Compliance oversight relating to NERC and Environmental requirements.
- Provides direct supervision to hourly multi-craft employees during a rotating 12 hour shift.
- Ensures that all dispatch directives are met within operational guidelines during 12 hour rotating shift.
- Ensures all required maintenance is performed according to assigned shift schedule.
- Provides and supports budget/project development and cost control.
- Provides contract management/contractor oversight.
Minimum Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Minimum Experience
- Three (3) years of Plant Operations/Power Boiler Experience and demonstrated supervisory leadership qualities
- Desired: 8-10 years of Plant Operations Experience, 3-5 years of this period as a control board operator
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must have an in depth knowledge of power plant systems, unit operating practices
- Must be knowledgeable in unit cycle chemistry, its requirements, and corrective actions
