Production Supervisor

About the Role

The Production Supervisor oversees the production process to ensure timely, within-budget manufacturing and assembly of products. They develop KPIs to measure team success, participate in hiring and training, and create daily production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evaluate departmental metrics to measure team success.
• Analyze process flows and implement inventory control measures.
• Improve production policies and procedures.
• Coordinate efforts between engineering, purchasing, and sales to meet production schedules.
• Ensure a safe work environment and communicate policies effectively.
• Monitor production performance, resolve issues, and report key metrics.
• Motivate staff and maintain quality standards.
• Foster collaboration across departments to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Perform related tasks, set strategic goals, and project a positive organizational image.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing practices.
• Strong communication, managerial, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
