Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Assign work responsibilities and allocate operators based on skills, experience, and operational requirements.
- Prepare equipment and workstations for production activities.
- Monitor production workflow, identify process issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Train, coach, and develop production operators and team leaders.
- Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to manufacturing standards.
- Promote and enforce Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies and procedures.
- Maintain production, quality, attendance, and operational records.
- Monitor finished product quality and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Maintain and update employee skill matrices.
- Report production KPIs and operational performance metrics to management.
- Optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment to improve efficiency.
- Participate in daily production meetings and shift communication activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, 5 Whys, and corrective action implementation.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
- Support safety committees and promote a culture of workplace awareness.
- Define and track performance indicators to improve operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve production issues and support on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, vocational training, or equivalent manufacturing experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience leading production teams and managing daily manufacturing operations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills and mathematical aptitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work on a manufacturing production floor.
