Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
  • Assign work responsibilities and allocate operators based on skills, experience, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare equipment and workstations for production activities.
  • Monitor production workflow, identify process issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Train, coach, and develop production operators and team leaders.
  • Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to manufacturing standards.
  • Promote and enforce Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies and procedures.
  • Maintain production, quality, attendance, and operational records.
  • Monitor finished product quality and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee skill matrices.
  • Report production KPIs and operational performance metrics to management.
  • Optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and shift communication activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, 5 Whys, and corrective action implementation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
  • Support safety committees and promote a culture of workplace awareness.
  • Define and track performance indicators to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve production issues and support on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, vocational training, or equivalent manufacturing experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience leading production teams and managing daily manufacturing operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic computer skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work on a manufacturing production floor.
