Production Supervisor

About the role

UTEX Industries is a leading manufacturer of engineered sealing solutions serving the oil and gas, industrial, and petrochemical markets. This role oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee production schedules to meet output goals
• Lead, train, and develop production employees
• Monitor processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulations
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
• Resolve production issues and drive root cause improvements
• Track KPIs and maintain accurate production reporting
• Support performance reviews and employee development

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required (technical degree preferred)
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety practices
• Experience with Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen) is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Combination of office and manufacturing floor
• Occasional evenings/weekends as needed
• Up to 10% travel
