Production Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise production associates, including giving work direction, and reviewing reports and production documents and output reports.
- Communicate on a regular basis with other internal departments including Warehouse, Human Resources, Quality Assurance.
- Maintain the company’s high standards of food safety, sanitation and cleanliness in all manufacturing facility areas.
- Ensure associates are properly trained on all production/manufacturing responsibilities and safety requirements.
- Monitor production lines regularly to assure that GMP’s and Safety procedures are followed.
- Identify opportunities and help implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; 2- or 4-year degree in industrial supervision, engineering, business, or related field strongly preferred.
- 2+ years in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing.
- Strong computer skills, specifically MS office. ERP/SAGE and Kronos experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, can-do mentality.
- Ability to lead and empower team members, encouraging employee engagement and team mentality.
Physical requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand;
