About the role
Rome Health is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to lead and support the dietary department. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, quality standards, and compliance with policies while supervising, training, and motivating staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support dietary staff in daily operations, including food production, cafeteria service, tray line, dishwashing, and food receiving.
- Ensure smooth workflow, quality standards, and compliance with state, local, and organizational policies.
- Actively supervise, train, and motivate dietary employees, creating a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Provide input on departmental policies and procedures to continually improve food and nutrition services.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- An associate's degree in food and nutrition or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in food service management and leadership is highly valued.
- Food safety and sanitation certification is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
