Production Supervisor

Main Function

Maintains manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.

Functional Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the Production Department personnel.
• Process Monitoring - Inspect all process equipment to ensure proper operation & efficiency.
• Implement all work instructions, and complete all necessary reporting.
• Monitor and direct safe and proper process equipment operation.
• Ensure acceptable implementation of all Production Department, and Plant policies.
• Off-Spec Reprocessing - Process and handle Off-Spec material, rerun, and prevent quality Storage Tank contamination.
• Process Control - Ensure product complies with customer requirements.
• Supervise production unit shutdowns and startups.
• Safeguard product loading and oil unloading activities during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, correct unsafe conditions, and implement all safety policies.
• Observe and take actions to mitigate fugitive emissions related events or conditions.
• Survey responsible process areas and perform housekeeping to maintain plant facilities in a safe and orderly condition.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering preferred.
• Three to five years previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• One to two years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Effective PC and PC-application software skills.
