Production Supervisor

About the role

Rite-Hite is seeking a Production Supervisor at our Horn Lake, MS manufacturing facility. The role involves leading and supporting a team responsible for producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of production and materials.
• Cookordinate labor availability and materials supply.
• Supervise the daily activities of operations unit.
• Motivate staff and deal effectively with performance and/or production issues.
• Read and interpret parts prints, assembly prints and tooling prints.
• Implement operational procedures.
• Understand and support safe production practices and good housekeeping.

Requirements

Full understanding of product assembly. Ability to work all areas at subordinate level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

Ability to respond to common inquiries. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
