Responsibilities

• Communicate and administer Prysmian Group policies and procedures
• Ensure a safe work environment at all times
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
• Coordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenance
• Resolve conflicts on the shop floor
• Perform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keeping
• Drive quality and cost-saving initiatives
• Guide, mentor, and lead shop floor associates

Requirements

• High School/GED Diploma (required)
• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or a related technical discipline (preferred)
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (required)
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience (required)
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing systems
• Experience utilizing production data, KPIs, reporting tools, and operational metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
• Lean manufacturing exposure (preferred)

Skills

• Computer skills allowing data entry, email use, and basic office programs
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to use written work instructions to complete tasks
• Proficiency with measuring equipment, including OD tapes, calipers, and micrometers
• Hazardous Waste Training
• First Responders Training

Physical Requirements

• Safety shoes and glasses required when working in production areas
• Hearing protection required in posted areas
• Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
