Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop hourly team members to achieve production, quality, delivery, and EH&S objectives.
- Plan and coordinate staffing, production schedules, and daily operations to meet customer demand.
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively address gaps to drive results.
- Promote and model a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all EH&S standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships (Materials, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, EH&S, IT) to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Effectively manage competing priorities, operational challenges, and changing business needs.
- Support new product launches and adapt to market or production changes.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, engagement, and development.
- Identify and develop talent to support succession planning and organizational growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable for results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) and HRIS (e.g., ADP) preferred.
- Familiarity with production environments such as assembly, machining, or fabrication is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the organization.
Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior leadership experience (leading 20+ employees) required.
- OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training preferred.
