What You'll Do
Lead Operations:
- Supervise shift leaders and hourly staff, ensuring optimal staffing, training, and compliance with food safety (FDA, SQF, HACCP) and safety regulations (OSHA, DHS).
- Drive Results:
- Manage day-to-day repackaging operations to meet cost, quality, and productivity goals.
- Support Nortera’s low-cost producer program.
- Foster Culture & Development:
- Champion Nortera’s culture through active coaching, team development, and collaboration with HR, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility inventory systems.
- Able to meet physical demands such as frequent lifting (up to 15 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, and working in varying environmental conditions.
- Minimum of five years of progressive supervisory or management experience, ideally with an Associate’s degree in Food Technology or related field and coursework in Supervision and Management.
- Strong organizational skills, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to adapt and lead effectively in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-driven environment.
