Production Supervisor

About the Role

This position leads daily operations on air-cooled chiller assembly lines, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance within a high-mix manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, process improvement, team development, and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a zero-incident safety culture through safety walks, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
• Manage production targets, labor allocation, and remove throughput constraints.
• Enforce standard work, quality processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives like kaizen and 5S.
• Lead and develop a team of hourly operators and team leads, providing feedback and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, support new product launches, and optimize processes.
• Track key metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and labor efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with brazing, leak testing, electrical systems, MES systems, and production tracking tools.
