Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor - Floating position is responsible for overseeing the daily production of corrugated and converting board, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promoting safety, quality production, and teamwork; and resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in the daily production of corrugated and converting board.
• Evaluate employee performance and resolve conflicts.
• Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance.
• Communicate operational information in both oral and written formats to all levels of the organization.
• Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other programs and initiatives.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to cover off-shifts as needed.
