Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
• Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
• Help coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints, and associate concerns.
• Oversee production associates.
• Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required. 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking a plus. Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Lean six sigma experience a plus. Inventory experience a plus. Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
