Responsibilities
- Supervises employees and coordinates administrative paperwork as required
- Oversees safety, quality and performance
- Aids in evaluating employees
- Maintains progress of all work, answers questions and ensures all material is ordered from the stockroom
- Pre-plans all shop work to maintain an efficient workflow
- Maintains good communication by meeting regularly with other supervisors and the Plant Manager
- Maintains equipment and tools, monitors any problems and resolves issues related to production
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a shop environment
- Experience as a supervisor
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control standards
