Production Supervisor
Plant Responsibilities
Serve as technical process expert in production, planning, scheduling, preventative maintenance (PM) actions, and budgetary matters
Comply with OSHA standards and company policies and procedures as they relate to safety and hygiene.
Manage the employee performance cycle, including interviewing candidates, training and development of team members, recommending advancement and promotions, coaching, counseling, and employment discharge;
Communicate frequently with other departments to ensure smooth plant operations and open communication lines with maintenance and other plant departments in the plant.
Document employee performance results and goals, and training progress.
Ensure Quality standards are met in production specifications and operation routine.
Meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Warehouse Responsibilities
Inspect in-coming materials and report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints and comments as well as actions taken.
Prepare documentation of production tickets and load sheets and certificates of compliance or analysis.
Plan and implement controls to track supplies, raw materials, work in process and finished goods inventory.
Create and manage the process of Bill of Ladings (BOL) and coordinate with vendors on shipment timely efficiency and deliveries.
Communicate with shipping carrier for on time delivery to customer.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Five (5) years of experience in the manufacturing industry or related fields.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and payroll information.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures.
Forklift operation experience and Certification preferred.
