Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Advanced Digital Cable is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead high-volume production while maintaining uncompromised quality. This role involves balancing operational excellence, technical oversight, team development, and standards compliance.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Direct all shift operations from raw copper drawing to final cabling to meet daily output targets.

• Monitor machine efficiency and coordinate with maintenance to ensure peak performance of cutting-edge equipment.

• Track and report on key metrics such as scrap rates and downtime, using data to suggest process improvements.

• Conduct daily toolbox talks, manage shift schedules, and provide real-time feedback to maintain high morale and productivity.

• Maintain an audit-ready floor at all times, adhering to ISO 9001 and internal safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5+ years in wire and cable manufacturing, specifically with extrusion, drawing, or stranding processes.

• Leadership: Minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or "Lead" capacity within an industrial environment.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction).

• Education: High School Diploma required; a degree in Engineering or Industrial Management is a significant plus.

Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer proficiency for reporting.

• Proven ability to make quick, data-driven decisions under pressure.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures.
